FUNDING AND MEETING NOTICE Grant County, Washington has been awarded federal funds, through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency under the Emergency Food & Shelter National Board Program in the amount of $67,160. A Local Board comprised of nine non-profit and governmental organizations will determine how the funds awarded to Grant County are to be distributed among the emergency food and shelter programs run by local service providers in the county. The Local Board will meet on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Sa-maritan Hospital Conference Room, Room #401, in Moses Lake to review funding requests and allocate funds. Under the terms of the grant from the National Board, local organizations chosen to receive funds must: 1) be a private voluntary non-profit organization or unit of government, 2) be eligible to receive federal funds, 3) have an accounting system, 4) practice nondiscrimination, 5) have demonstrated the capability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs, and 6) if a private voluntary organization, have a voluntary board. NOTICE OF PRE-QUALIFYING FOR TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION LINE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE, AND SUBSTATION CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE Application for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for electrical construction or improvement of an electrical facility (as described below): Pursuant to RCW 54.04.085, Contractors wishing to be considered by Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington for designation as a pre-qualified bidder for transmission and distribution line construction and maintenance, and for substation construction and maintenance must submit a Pre-Qualification Application.
