NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Grant County, State of Washington, there will be held a Primary Election for the purpose of submitting to the voters, Candidates for Local Offices for their approval or rejection of the following: Legislative District #13 - State Representative Position #2 - Partisan Office - 1 Year Unexpired Term City of Soap Lake - Mayor - Nonpartisan Office - 4 Year Term Almira School District #17 (we are joint with Lincoln County) - School Director #1 - Nonpartisan Office - 4 Year Term Coulee Hartline School District #151 - School Director #4 - Nonpartisan Office - 4 Year Term The registration deadline for online registrations, mail-in registrations is July 29, 2019. Any qualified elector who needs to transfer their registration from another county and is not registered to vote in the State of Washington may register to vote in person at the Auditor's office up to and including Election Day, August 6, 2019. You can register or obtain registration forms at the County Auditor's Voter's Registration office, or on line at VoteWa.gov. The Grant County Election Office, 35 C St NW, Room 203, at the County Courthouse, is where voters may obtain replacement ballots, drop off voted ballots, or obtain provisional ballots. Also available to the public is the DAU's, or Disability Access Units, which provide voters with disabilities an equal opportunity to vote independently and privately.
