Woman arrested on multiple drug charges after traffic stop
MOSES LAKE - A Moses Lake woman was arrested Tuesday after her vehicle was stopped for a drug investigation by detectives with the Moses Lake Police Department, according to police officials.
Mary A. K. Rojas, 21, was booked on charges of possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of heroin with intent to deliver, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Officers pulled over Rojas in a traffic stop after recognizing her as being involved in a drug investigation, police said Wednesday. A search warrant was served for her vehicle, where officers reportedly discovered Suboxone strips, a little under three grams of heroin, over a gram of meth, and two other prescription narcotics.
Rojas was suspected to be involved with drug dealing, leading to the stop, according to police. Along with the narcotics, officers reportedly discovered a scale.
