June 26, 1952 – June 24, 2019

Kenneth A. Buley, 66, passed away on June 24, 2019 in Walla Walla, Washington. Viewing will be Saturday, July 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt funeral home, 1551 The Dalles Military Rd., Walla Walla. A Celebration of Life will follow that same day at 2 p.m. at the Walla Walla Country Club, 1390 Country Club Rd., Walla Walla.

Kenneth was born to Linn N. and Mary Lois (Corbin) Buley in Corvallis, Oregon on June 26, 1952. Ken grew up in the Walla Walla area, living in Royal City, and Moses Lake. After graduating from Cal Poly State, Ken moved back to Washington to farm in Royal City, and lastly as a wheat farmer in Walla Walla.

Ken enjoyed being in the outdoors and welcomed any opportunity to go fishing but his real passion was for cooking, and so many were able to share and enjoy one of his meals with him. Ken also enjoyed being spontaneous and would get in his truck, pick a destination cross-country and head out, just because driving and meeting new people would make for a great day. But above all else, anyone who knew Ken knew he was the most generous person. He made friends anywhere and everywhere he went. His favorite pastime was being able to give; if it was giving gifts or his time to help someone that was what he loved to do and the essence of who he was.

Ken is survived by two sons Jeffrey (Megan) Buley and John Buley, daughter Kimberly Buley, parents Linn and Mary Lois Buley, two brothers Stephen Buley and Gordon Buley and grandchildren Corbin, Brielle, Parker, Madison, Tanner, Aspyn Buley, Devan and Dylan Medrano and Caden Schenck.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Prescott Lions Club through the funeral home. Friends and family may share memories and sign his online guestbook at www.mountainview-colonialdewitt.com.
