MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Police Department has apprehended a man who is suspected of breaking into the local Walmart and stealing a number of items, including a shotgun.

Alberto A. Ramirez, 27, was allegedly observed on camera making entry into the Moses Lake Walmart by breaking a glass door into the store’s garden center just before 6 a.m. Wednesday, police said. The man caught on camera was observed filling a duffle bag with items from the sporting goods department before breaking the rifle display cabinet with a hammer and stealing a shotgun.

Police arrested Ramirez shortly after 8 a.m. in the Moses Lake Warming Center parking lot after recognizing him from surveillance footage. The stolen items were not found in his possession.
