Saturday concert planned at George CoffeeHouse

GEORGE — Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Then a trip to George may be in order Saturday night as the George Community Hall, also known as the “George CoffeeHouse,” is bringing a band to town that is billed to bring attendees back to the days of honky tonks and western swing music.
The Saturday concert will take place at George Community Hall, 403 W. Montmorency Blvd. Admission is $5 a pop, but kids 12 and under can attend for free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the actual concert, which will feature the band Memory Lane, starting at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Memory Lane specializes in old-timey country music, but attendees may hear the occasional classic rock song. For more information contact George Community Hall at 509-785-3041.
