There are no visitor facilities on the island. Public access will resume on October 16, 2019. CALL FOR BIDS CITY OF ROYAL CITY WRF UV DISINFECTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Royal City, 445 Camelia Street NE, Royal City, Washington 99357, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof for the WRF UV Disinfection System Improvements. The Project includes installing new UV equipment to be furnished by the Owner within the existing UV building at the City of Royal City Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The work includes, but is not limited to, installation of new equipment, modifications to existing effluent piping, and electrical modifications. The project also includes provisions for disinfection during construction in order to meet the existing water reclamation permit requirements and maintain full function of the facility. The Work shall be substantially complete within 80 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Finance Director, City Hall, Royal City, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Royal City" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.
