ROYAL CITY — The Royal School District will be holding an informational meeting next week on the specifics of the district’s bond proposal.

The meeting will take place in the Royal High School library at 7 p.m. on Jan. 15. Information will be presented by Royal School Board members and administrators will be detailing the district’s $16.58 million bond proposal. There will also be a time for attendees to ask questions. The proposal will be decided upon by voters during the Feb. 12 special election.

“The 2019 Royal bond will cover three major renovation projects at the high school, middle school and bus garage. These projects aim at addressing student and staff safety, growing enrollment and insufficient infrastructure in Royal schools,” superintendent Roger Trail explained.

Additional bond information can be found by visiting www.royal.wednet.edu. For more information contact Roger Trail at 509-346-2222 or via email at rtrail@royalsd.org.
