NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION and REGISTRATION DEADLINES - ADAMS COUNTY, WA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a February Special Election will be held on February 12, 2019 in Adams County, State of Washington, to submit to the qualified electors thereof, for their approval and adoption or rejection of Local Propositions. The last date to register online, through the mail, transfer or update an existing registration is Monday, January 14th. PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF VACANCY - BOARD OF DIRECTORS Due to the expiration of term of office for a Director of the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County, candidates are being sought to fill the position by appointment. The expiring position is for Director of Section 5, which covers the portion of Grant County lying southerly of the Frenchman Hills. The term of office will be for four (4) years and will begin March 1, 2019. All persons interested in appointment to the board and residing in Section 5 must make a written application that includes the signatures of at least ten registered voters residing in Section 5.
