Man picks a fight with Frosty

MOSES LAKE — In the middle of a busy three-day weekend, Moses Lake police were dispatched Sunday evening to West Ridge Road and North Mattson Avenue for reports of an assault ... of a snowman.

Police made contact around 4 p.m. Sunday with a man who advised he had imagined the icy individual was his father, and that this spurred him to attack and destroy the slushy sculpture. The subject, whose age was not given, promised police that he wouldn't attack any more snowmen.

If a magic top hat is found, residents are encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
