| December 17, 2019 11:37 PM

January 15, 1959 – December 10, 2019

Yvonne Adair Russell (Davis) was born on Jan. 15, 1959 and raised in Moses Lake, Washington. Yvonne passed away on Dec. 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

She is now with her sisters Connie and Arlene and her dad Ed Taylor.

Yvonne was a very strong, caring, and brave woman who put up a long and hard fight during her battle with cancer. She’s survived by her mother Fronia Taylor; her brother Ronnie Davis; her children Stephanie Russell (Dustin), Kylee Strzelczyk (Jeremiah), Melanie Russell (Alex) and Zachary Russell (Rosalyn), and her nine grandchildren whom she loved more than anything (with the Dallas Cowboys at a close second), along with her nephews and many friends.

Besides spending time with her family and friends, Yvonne loved the Dallas Cowboys and Wizard of Oz; she loved putting puzzles together, playing Yahtzee, and gardening. Yvonne had a smile that would brighten any room. You will forever be in our hearts. We would like to thank everyone at Golden Age AFH for caring so deeply for our mother. We love and appreciate you all so much. We’d also like to thank the Moses Lake Assured Hospice for keeping her so comfortable and caring so much for her.

Her celebration of life will be at Crestview Christian School 1601 W. Valley Rd. in Moses Lake on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. Join us for dinner after at Chico’s Parlor, Yvonne’s favorite pizza parlor. In honor of our mother, In lieu of flowers, we ask that you contribute to our donation back to our local Moses Lake Cancer Foundation, who were a tremendous help to her.

The Moment That You Died

The moment that you died

My heart was torn in two

One side filled with heartache

The other died with you

I often lie awake at night

When the world is fast asleep, and

Take a walk down memory lane

With tears upon my cheeks

Remembering you is easy

I do it everyday

But missing you is heartache

That never goes away

I hold you tightly within my heart

And there you will remain

Until the joyous day arrives

That we will meet again.
