Donald Lee Cannon

On Dec. 5, 2019 Don passed away at his home in Marysville, Washington.

Don was born Oct. 19, 1961 to Mel and Daisy (Dory) Cannon in Moses Lake, Washington. Don attended Moses Lake High School where he met Kimberly Carter. Don married Kim in July 1979. He joined the United States Army in 1980. After being stationed in Frankfurt, Germany where Don honorably served until 1986, Don and Kim returned to Moses Lake, Washington where they raised their four children.

After many years traveling the country as a long haul truck driver he settled in Marysville, Washington.

Don will forever be remembered for his infectious laughter and what he lacked in tact he made up for in his giant personality.

Don is survived by his four children Michael (Brittany) Cannon, Michelle (Josh) Gilliam, Andrea Cannon and Marriah Cannon; his mother Daisy Sharp; seven siblings Brian Cannon, Denise Cannon, Kathy (Ben) Helgeson-Taueu, Kevin (Kathy Sperry) Cannon, Raymond (Isabelle) Sharp, Fawn Opp and Glennda Gaudets; four grandchildren Jayce Gilliam, Kaiden Gilliam, Jordan Cannon and Ainsleigh Williams as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Don is preceded in death by his father Mel Cannon and his dad John “Glenn” Sharp.

Services will be held at Generations Church, 431 E. Brown St., Moses Lake, Washington on Saturday Dec. 21 at 2 p.m.
