Prep roundup: Quincy concedes too many pins in loss to Wapato
QUINCY — Quincy won five matches, however, it conceded too many pins and forfeits in a 45-21 loss to Wapato.
Oswaldo Perez (152) and Mykenzi Realme (182) won by fall to highlights the Jacks’ victories.
“I was happy with how we wrestled on our feet,” head coach Breck Webley said.
Ruben Vargas (220), Israel Perez (132) and Paden Wallace (160) also picked up victories. Vargas defeated Christian Longtimesleeping 11-6, Perez outlasted Diego Ramirez 8-3 and Wallace bested Ismael Custodio 7-2.
Quincy forfeited 113 and 145 pounds, and there was a double forfeit at 106 pounds. Wapato stretched its lead out with five pins.
Boys basketball
Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 73, Upper Columbia Academy 39
RITZVILLE — Austin Thompson scored 31 points and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague routed Upper Columbia Academy 73-39.
The Broncos led 41-17 at halftime. Thompson added five steals and Drew Kelly scored 15 points.

Yakama Tribal 52, Moses Lake Christian 42
MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Christian was unable to overtake Yakama Tribal in the fourth quarter and lost 52-42.
The Lions trailed by three points entering the fourth quarter and kept the game close until some late free throws extended the margin.
“It was a pretty competitive game back and forth,” head coach Josh Kast said.
Allison Stanley scored a team-high 10 points; Kali Kast and Mckenna Meise added nine and eight points, respectively.
Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 64, Upper Columbia Academy 21
RITZVILLE — The Broncos pulled away with a 24-point second quarter and beat Upper Columbia Academy 64-21.
The game was tied 8-6 after the first quarter before the Broncos erupted for 56 over the next three. Eliza Galbreath scored 13 points to lead Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.
Girls bowling
Eisenhower 4, Moses Lake 0
YAKIMA — Moses Lake was swept by Eisenhower 4-0.
The Cadets won the first two games 744-736 and 790-712. The Cadets continued to roll with wins in both baker games 237-134 and 197-165.
Kylee Christie led the Chiefs in Game 1 with 170 pins and 166 in the second.
