Moses Lake Visitor Center moves

Now at Moses Lake Museum & Art Center

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Visitor Information Center will be moving, opening in its new location Dec. 16.

The new location is the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center, part of the Moses Lake Civic Center, 401 South Balsam St. The visitor’s center phone number will be 509-764-3820.

“The civic center was built with growth in mind for services such as the visitor information center,” said Spencer Grigg, parks and recreation director.

Of course there’s information for visitors, along with free Wi-Fi, free maps of the area and public restrooms. Since it’s housed in the museum, hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Along with the VIC, the museum hosts art and historical exhibitions in its gallery and sponsors lectures and classes.
