Dec. 4

Police responded to the 800 block of East Hill Avenue to serve an eviction order. Officers gave the respondent emergency shelter for the night and helped them to set up an appointment with the Housing Authority in order to secure low-income shelter.

Police responded to Knolls Vista Elementary for a report of gang-related graffiti and tagging on a pump house near the school.

Police Responded to the Digital Learning Center for a report of a possible assault, which was under investigation.

Police responded to Chief Moses Middle School for a report of two students in possession of alcohol.

Police responded to Larson Heights Elementary School for a report of an out of control child that bit and kicked the responding school resource officer.

Police responded to Moses Lake High School for a report of a student caught on surveillance camera doing donuts in the student parking lot for about 45 minutes.

Police responded to the Moses Lake Food Bank for a report of a homeless man who had attempted to remove metal panels from the walls of the food bank to add to the roof of his shelter, before aggressively approaching the building manager with a hammer.

Police responded to Safeway for a report of a subject who entered the store, selected a rotisserie chicken and placed it in their purse before attempting to leave without paying.

Police responded to the 9900 block of Kinder Road Northeast for a report of a needle found near a resident’s back door.

Police responded to the 2200 block of West Main Street for a report of gang-related graffiti that had been sprayed onto a fence.

Police responded to Frontier Middle School for a report of a student yelling vulgarities at their teacher during class.

Police responded to the 1000 block of West Marina Drive for a report that a car’s tires had been slashed by a neighbor due to a dispute over a dog.

Police responded to Frontier Middle School for a report of a student assaulted in the locker room after Physical Education class.

Police responded to the 100 block of West Belmont Avenue for a report of an aggressive dog that bit a neighbor who was getting the mail.

Dec. 6

Police responded to the 1600 block of South Skyline Drive for a report of a home break-in, though officers discovered that a picture hanging above the kitchen sink had fallen and hit the faucet, causing it to turn on.

Police responded to the area of South Cedar Street and West Third Avenue for a report of an 8-year-old girl who had been run over by a parade float while she was handing out candy. The child was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Dec. 7

Police responded to the 2100 block of South Beaumont Drive for a report of a possible burglary in which jewelry and a semi-auto shotgun was believed to be missing.

Police responded to the 900 block of East Hayden Drive for a report of possible shots fired. A shell casing was discovered, but the gun involved was not identified.

Police responded to the area of Road L Northeast and Wheeler Road Northeast for a report of a storage unit that had broken into, in which jewelry, stamp collections and tools were stolen.

Police responded to the 100 block of East Third Avenue for a report of a man digging through the businesses’ trash and then yelling profanities at a property manager when they came outside to ask them to stop. Subject was trespassed.

Armando Estrada Escobar, 21, of Moses Lake was booked on an outstanding warrant related to third-degree driving while license suspended.

Timothy Richard Riggins, 30, of Ephrata was booked on an outstanding warrant related to second-degree robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of explosive device and unlawful abandonment of explosive device.

Kevin Keith Clark, 32, of Soap Lake was booked on an outstanding warrant related to resisting arrest and obstruction law enforcement officer.

Toribio Bejas Hernandez, 43, of George was booked on an outstanding warrant related to possession of a controlled substance.

Joel Leiz Wright, 52, of Moses Lake was booked on an outstanding warrant, charges unspecified.
