Moses Lake girls bowling edges Sunnyside

SUNNYSIDE — Moses Lake girls bowling was able to edge Sunnyside on total pin count, 1572-1508, to return to the win column.

The Chiefs cruised in the first game, outscoring the Grizzlies 669-573. Chloe Hansen and Haley Rogers both bowled a game-high 169. Kylee Christie and Kylee Pardee added 136 and 127 pins, respectively.

Sunnyside was able to even the match after erupting for 669 pins itself in the second game. Moses Lake managed 662 behind a 170-pin effort from Rogers.

Moses Lake took the first baker game 125-104 before dropping the second 162-116.

Moses Lake’s consistency through the match carried the team to a 64-pin advantage, securing the win.

The Chiefs return to Lake Bowl Dec. 10 to host Davis at 3:30 p.m.
