Scooteney Reservoir Campground opens Friday

CONNELL — The Scooteney Reservoir Campground will open for the 2019 camping season on Friday, April 12, according to the Bureau of Reclamation in a press release on March 26.
The campground is part of the Scooteney Reservoir Recreation Area, located on Highway 17, 12 miles south of Othello. Each of the 36 campsites is equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. RV hook-ups are not available. However, restrooms, potable water and a dump station are available on site. Campsites have a first-come, first-serve availability.
Overnight camping is $15 a night per campsite. Additional vehicles are an extra $5 a night per site.
