Final George Coffee House of the season this Saturday

GEORGE — The George Community Hall will be alive with music this weekend.

Friday, April 5 will be the First Friday Jam. Everyone is welcome to participate. Audience members are also welcome. A potluck will be held at 6 p.m. in the George Community Hall kitchen. The music will begin at 7 p.m.

The final George CoffeeHouse of the 2018-2019 season will be on Saturday, April 6 at 7 p.m. The Saddle Rockers of Wenatchee perform a “blend of vintage rock, country swing and bluegrass, with some extra-savory folk or jazz tossed in,” according to an email newsletter from the George Community Hall.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. Children 12 and under are free. There will be a hat-pass for the band with suggested donations of $8 to $12. The George, Washington Georgettes will serve refreshments during intermission.
