MOSES LAKE — Madi Krogh scored once in each half and Moses Lake withstood a physical Davis team to win 3-0.

The win kept Moses Lake (4-1, 7-2) on pace with the other one-loss teams in the Columbia Basin Big Nine — Wenatchee and Eastmont.

“Davis is a good team and we knew that they were going to be a tough match for us tonight because they lost to us in a penalty shot in overtime last year and they wanted it back so we were prepared for it,” head coach Ric Char said.

Morgan Skone was able to quell the Davis attack with a goal early on, lofting the ball from the right sideline into the top left corner of the net.

Krogh scored her first goal in the 33rd minute and added an insurance goal just after halftime.

“She’s so quick and she got rewarded tonight and Player of the Game as well,” Char said.
