Walmart chips in for schools

According to manager Galen Mathis, Walmart donated around $7,500 in supplies this year, and is the company’s second large donation to the area’s schools. “I’ve had teachers and students thank me for last year’s donation,” Mathis said. ‘Any time we can give back to the community.’
