Carol Ann Davis

Carol Ann Davis was born on Nov. 22, 1948, in Wendell, Idaho, to Clarence and Laura Fink. In 1957 the family moved to Othello, Wash. where she attended public school, graduating from Othello High School in 1967. In the mid-1970s she moved to Kennewick where she met and in 1978 married Jim Davis. They moved to Othello and on Nov. 11, 1981 their first daughter Laura was born, followed by Michelle on April 15, 1984.

Carol was an accomplished pianist and played for every church she ever attended. In the late ’80s they joined the Othello Foursquare Church. Carol joined the worship team playing the piano and was later joined by Jim who played a bass guitar.

Jim passed away on April 15, 2000. Shortly thereafter Carol moved to Moses Lake, Wash. where she bought a home. She joined Lake City Foursquare Church and joined the worship team and was later employed by the church as bookkeeper.

In 2009 Carol was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following surgery she had seven years before she was diagnosed with cancer once again. After a lengthy battle she went home to be with Jesus on Sept. 5, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father Clarence in 1995, her husband Jim in 2000, her brother Darrel in 2003 and her mother in 2011. She is survived by her daughters Laura Field of Brewster, Wash. and Michelle Payne of Moses Lake, Wash., her four grandchildren and her brother Marvin Finck of Pasco, Wash.

Carol’s passion in life were her relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her daughters and her grandchildren. Her faith and testimony never wavered throughout her long battle with cancer. Her life will be honored in a Memorial Service at Lake City Foursquare Church in Moses Lake on Sept. 23 at 2 p.m.
