2nd Harvest Mobile Market coming to Quincy, Grand Coulee

QUINCY — The 2nd Harvest Mobile Market will be making a stop in Quincy tomorrow and Grand Coulee later in the month to distribute food to local families in need.
The free event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Akins Fresh Market, 106 F St. SW. The event, which is sponsored by Microsoft’s datacenter in Quincy, features free produce, perishable food and other groceries distributed to all households that are in need of food assistance. The food bank is open to the public and appointments or documentation are not necessary. The only thing needed by attendees at the distribution is a box or bags for the food.
Another Second Harvest event is scheduled from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 27 in Grand Coulee at 348 Mead Ave.
