Moses Lake Police Department
Sept. 10
Chief Moses Middle School received a message on its tip line with regard to a student threatening to shoot another student. The threats did not occur at the school and no mention was made of bringing a gun to the school. The threat is under investigation.
Report of a backpack stolen out of a vehicle in the 1300 block of South Monroe Street.
A used syringe was found in a parking lot in the 400 block of East Nelson Road. The syringe was disposed of by police.
Report of an assault between two students at Moses Lake High School. Both of the students will be charged with assault.
Police contacted a male who was sleeping in a public restroom in the 200 block of West Third Avenue. The man was trespassed from all city parks for one week.
Report of items stolen out of a vehicle in the 700 block of South Pennivy Street.
A subject was arrested in the area of Miller Drive Northeast and Olympic Drive Northeast after being contacted in a stolen vehicle.
A male student at Endeavor Middle School was suspended from school after he brought a knife to school and showed it to another student.
Report of a male stealing a $300 item from a business in the 300 block of South Division Street and fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
An unknown female stole a cell phone from a business in the 1100 block of North Stratford Road.
Report of a boat motor stolen from the 2400 block of West Marina Drive.
Sept. 11
Report of subjects looking into a backyard and taking pictures of dogs in the 1300 block of West Columbia Avenue. Police could not locate the subjects.
Report of a suspicious subject looking into vehicles in the Safeway parking lot. Police could not locate the subject.
Two students at Moses Lake High School were involved in a physical fight at the school. The students will both be charged with disorderly conduct.
Report of two female subjects using a fake $100 bill at a business in the 1200 block of South Pioneer Way. The subjects were identified and contacted at Moses Lake High School. No charges were filed against the females.
Report of a snow blower stolen out of a storage shed in the 8400 block of Harris Road Northeast.
A man reported his backpack was stolen out of his vehicle on South Laguna Drive.
Report of an unknown subject cutting a fence lock at a car dealership in the 1700 block of West Broadway Avenue. Several items were stolen out of the fenced area.
A man reported hearing shots fired near the 2100 block of West Peninsula Drive. No shell casings were located. A witness reported seeing a subject throw fireworks out of a vehicle in the area.

Sept. 11
Donald Bodeau, 51, of Wilbur, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for second-degree theft.
Jesse Manrique, 48, of Spokane, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for first-degree driving with a suspended license and hit-and-run of an attended vehicle.
Jose Barrera Gonzalez, 23, of Wenatchee, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
David Melendrez, 28, of Yakima, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree malicious mischief.
Shane Holm, 36, of Suquamish, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for delivery of drug paraphernalia.
Gary Christy, 27, of Tacoma, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for first-degree negligent driving.
Ashley Baker, 23, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on two outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree theft and outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Juan Zamora, 38, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for possession of heroin and methamphetamine.
Matthew Devore, 20, of Warden, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.
Saul Nieto, 31, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for hit-and-run, DUI, third-degree driving with a suspended license and violation of a civil anti-harassment order.
Cassandra Calderon Ozuna, 18, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for second-degree criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, minor in possession of alcohol and an outstanding GCDC warrant for negligent driving.
Felipe Flores, 19, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock system.
Sept. 12
Brian Massey, 30, of Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding Department of Corrections warrants for possession of a controlled substance and attempted residential burglary.
