MOSES LAKE - A semi-truck driver from Kent was reportedly intoxicated on Tuesday when he crashed his semi on Interstate 90 near Moses Lake.

About 5:55 p.m. Rupinder Singh, 39, of Kent, was driving a 2015 Freightliner semi-truck west on I-90, about 12 miles west of Moses Lake, when he reportedly left the road to the right and overcorrected. Singh re-entered the roadway and the semi ended up rolling and coming to a rest on it's side blocking both westbound I-90 lanes, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Singh was not injured in the collision, but the patrol says he was cited for DUI and driving with his wheels off of the roadway. The Freightliner sustained reportable damages and was impounded. Westbound I-90 was closed for five hours as crews cleared the scene and authorities investigated the collision. Westbound I-90 traffic was detoured at exit 169 onto North Frontage Road. The official cause of the collision is reported to be under investigation.
