Prep roundup: Moses Lake girls soccer rallies to win at Mt. Spokane
MEAD — Moses Lake overcame a 2-1 halftime deficit to beat Mt. Spokane 4-3.
Morgan Skone put Moses Lake ahead in the ninth minute, scoring off an assist from Emily Mendoza. However, Mt. Spokane answered with goals in the 20th and 28th minute.
Claire Hopkins and Emily Mendoza added a goal each in the second half to help the Chiefs regain the lead. The Wildcats’ Ally Gockley tied the match in the 70th minute.
Moses Lake senior forward Madi Krogh scored the game-winner in the 75th minute.
Moses Lake opens Columbia Basin Big Nine play at home Thursday, 7 p.m., against West Valley.

ELLENSBURG — Ephrata was swept on the road by Ellensburg 25-17, 25-13, 25-12.
The Bulldogs took control of the second set with eight aces.

SELAH — Quincy tried to extend its match with Selah but ultimately lost in three sets 25-17, 25-18, 26-24.
“We figured a few things out, but then we just didn’t execute on our end,” head coach Dean Pratt said.
Mackenzie Kleyn led the Jacks with five kills. Morgan Kleyn and Ashlyn Rosenberger added three kills each.
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 3, Odessa 0
ODESSA — Almira/Coulee-Hartline made quick work of Odessa in straight sets 25-18. 25-14, 25-13.
Senior middle blocker Gabi Isaak notched an all-around match of five kills, eight aces and five blocks.
Ashley Mitchell and Maddie Murray added five kills apiece to Isaak’s total.
Christa Christopherson and Makenna Oliver tallied a match-high nine assists each.
River View 3, Warden 1
KENNEWICK — River View outlasted Warden in four sets 25-23, 22-25, 25-19, 25-19.
