Steven Leon Voth

Steven Leon Voth, 67, of Othello, Wash. passed away on Sept. 2, 2018, after a long struggle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones including his wife of 15 years Lynette Voth.

Steve was born on Oct. 25, 1950, in Scio, Ore. During his lifetime, he also lived in California, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Canada. At times he worked as a truck driver, farmer, financial advisor, salesman, teacher, and football coach but he was first and foremost a husband and father. Steve was a voracious reader, loved sports and had a gifted singing voice. He sang at churches, events, and gatherings throughout his life.

Steve is survived by four sons from his first marriage: Bradley Voth of Milford, Ohio, Christopher Voth of Denver, Colo., Mike Voth of Chico, Calif. and Timothy Burnvoth of Corning, Calif. Steve and Lynnette also shared three children: Scott Robinson of Ferndale, Wash., Jesse Robinson of Spokane, Wash. and Anita Peralta of Rosalia, Wash. His surviving grandchildren include Tyler Voth, Emily Voth, and Erica Voth of Milford, Ohio and Alexia Robinson, Kira Robinson and Charlie Robinson of Ferndale, Wash.

Steve is also survived by three sisters Geraldine Parker of Connell, Wash., Loralee Dixon of Paradise, Calif. and Norma Jean Voth of Oakland, Calif.

Steve was preceded in death by his brother Howard, mother Selma Loewen Voth Schmidt, father Benjamin Franklin Voth and son Charlie Peralta.

Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Chapel on Friday, Sept. 7, at 1:30 p.m., and at Columbia River Mennonite Church on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 10:30 a.m.
