EPHRATA — Grant County Treasurer Darryl Pheasant wants to remind taxpayers that second-half tax payments are due on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

For taxpayers who did not pay their entire tax bills at the end of April, second half payments are due on real property, mobile homes and personal property. Second half assessments for residents of the Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District are due on that date as well.

“If you are sending your payment by mail, please make sure your envelope is postmarked on or before Oct. 31 to avoid being considered delinquent,” Pheasant said.

Pheasant asked taxpayers to make sure all parcels are included in their statements, and that all coupons are included to receive proper credit.

“If you have more than one coupon, you may make one check out for the total taxes,” Pheasant said.

Taxpayers can also drop their payments off in the treasurer’s drop box outside the Grant County Courthouse, or pay in person at the treasurer’s office or online at www.grantcountywa.gov under the treasurer’s tab.

“We will be open during noontime for Oct. 22 through Oct. 31,” Pheasant said.
