MOSES LAKE — Don’t make plans for breakfast if you happen to be in Moses Lake on Saturday morning because the Moses Lake Firefighters Breakfast is returning to raise funds for several different community projects.

The event, organized by the Moses Lake Firefighters IAFF 1258 and the Moses Lake Lion Club, will be held at Moses Lake Fire Department Station No. 1, 701 E. Third Ave., from 6 to 11 a.m. On the menu for breakfast are (of course) pancakes, eggs, hash browns and sausage.

Tickets are as follows: $9 for ages 12 and up, $6 for ages 7-11, free for ages 6 and under and $25 for a family of 4. Proceeds from the breakfast go directly to the Moses Lake Firefighters Benevolent Fund, which funds several of the organization’s community endeavors, including Operation Warm, which provides warm winter coats for local children in need. Raised funds also go to aid the Moses Lake Lion’s Club’s emphasis on projects that aid people with sight and hearing problems.
