Lois Marie (Judd) Williams

| November 29, 2018 2:00 AM

January 22, 1941 – November 19

Lois Marie (Judd) Williams was born on Jan. 22, 1941 in the small farming community of Ewan, Wash. Her family later moved to Cheney where she met Mike Williams; they were married in 1960 and moved to Othello in 1966. Lois raised her children while working graveyard at Chef Reddy; later, she was a paraprofessional with the Othello School District from 1970 to 2001. She also worked for the Othello Outlook for over 25 years until her retirement in 2003. Lois loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren immensely and never missed the opportunity to shower them with encouragement or gifts and, when needed, a stern talking-to. There was also a soft spot in her heart for the numerous cats and dogs she and Mike adopted over the years and for the additional strays who found food and shelter on their doorstep.

Lois is survived by her husband Mike, of 58 years; son Michael (Eloisa) and daughter Lori (Mac); grandsons Mark (Becky), Michael (Jhenesis) and Ryan (Melissa); granddaughters Sadie (Danny) and Rachel (Ike); great-grandsons Connor, Quinton, Chase and Julian; great-granddaughters Hailee, Maci, Paysyn, Teagen, Abrielle, Mia, Chevelle and Khaleesi and sisters Joan Nelson and Jean Wagner. Lois is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Glen Judd, and her brothers-in-law Larry Nelson and Bud Wagner.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to contribute remembrances can do so to the Adams County Pet Rescue. Lois passed away Nov. 19. Per her request, there will be no memorial service.
