GRANT COUNTY PUBLIC HOSPITAL DISTRICT NO. 1 DBA SAMARITAN HEALTHCARE Date of Bid Opening: 14 December 2018 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Bid Submittal: Sealed bids will be received for the Samaritan Healthcare MRI Construction & Renovation project by Samaritan Healthcare at the Samaritan Hospital Plant Services Department 801 East Wheeler Road, Moses Lake, WA. Bids must be received by Samaritan Healthcare at the location noted above no later than 3:00 pm, Pacific Time, on Friday, 14 December 2018. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud on fourth floor of the hospital room 401. Bids received after the date and hour stated above will not be accepted or considered. Project Description: The project consists of the renovation of Clinic spaces of the first floor of the Samaritan Hospital Building, and construction of additional square footage for MRI Cassette. Pre-Bid Meeting: A Pre-Bid Meeting and site walk-through will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital 801 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake, WA 98837 Samaritan Healthcare requires all bidders to attend. This will be the only opportunity for bidders to visit the Project ite. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "Grant County Public Hospital District #1". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Bid Guaranty: Bidder shall submit with its bid either a surety company bid bond on a form provided by Samaritan Healthcare in the Bid Documents, or a cashier's or certified check payable to the order of the Samaritan Healthcare, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid including alternates. Bids not accompanied by an appropriate bid guaranty may be rejected as non-responsive. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the bid submission deadline, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days from the bid submission deadline.
