Holiday ornaments on Free Family Saturday

MOSES LAKE — Children can get a picture with Santa from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center. Pictures are jointly sponsored by the museum and the Moses Lake Business Association. There’s a fee, with the proceeds shared by the two organizations.
But there’s no fee for Free Family Saturday, the museum’s monthly craft project. It’s also on Saturday, from noon to 2 p.m., or until supplies run out, at the museum.
Saturday’s project uses yarn, feathers and a cardboard cutout to make a bright red cardinal ornament. Free Family Saturday is supported by donations from museum memberships, sponsorships and the “Feed the Mammoth” fundraiser.
