Big Bend women win opener handily

MOSES LAKE — Freshman forward Hannah Wilson scored a game-high 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting and Big Bend defeated Olympic in its season opener 81-58.

Big Bend outscored Olympic in the first three quarters, which included a 23-12 third quarter.

Returning starters Leah Dougherty and Miranda Johnson 14 and 11 points, respectively.
