Lenny Harm winner at miniature art show

MOSES LAKE — Artist Lenny Harm received the first place award in the annual Miniature Art Show, on display through Friday at the Umpqua Bank branch in Moses Lake. Harm’s painting of an owl also won the People’s Choice award.

The annual art show attracted 50 entries, paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor and wire, paintings on burlap and feathers as well as canvas. Subjects range from landscapes to animals to abstract compositions.

Leanne Hickman, Moses Lake, took the second place award. Susan Walpole, Moses Lake, received the third place award, Judy Kalin, Moses Lake, received fourth place award and Carol Billings, Warden was fifth. Harm took the first honorable mention, and Walpole the second honorable mention.

The first place winner received $100, sponsored by Dr. Craig Harder. The $50 awards were sponsored by Dr. Steven Ausere, Judy Warnick, Credit Services of Central Washington; Brent Leishman of Brent’s Automatic Transmission Shop; Yvonne Smith and Angela, Johnny, Daniel and Jeanette Ferguson. Anzelini’s Frame and Art Gallery sponsored a $75 gift certificate.
