QUINCY — Police officers are called on to deal with hairy situations on a daily basis, but in Quincy this month perhaps the hairiest situation of all will be the outcome of the Quincy Police Department’s “No-Shave November” challenge for charity.

Each QPD officer was given the option to participate in No-Shave November if they make a $100 donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

“I have personally seen the work Shriners does, both with friends and family,” said Chief Kieth Siebert. “They remove the worry of money and replace it with unconditional love.”
