NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD December 3, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA to consider the following budget extension requests: Sheriff's Office in the amount of $52,223.00 to cover the costs associated with the transfer of the Code Enforcement position from the Planning Department to the Sheriff's Office. This will cover salaries and benefits. Auditor's Office - Elections Department in the amount of $1,500,000.00 for the short term loan that was approved by the Commissioners on April 17, 2018 from the Solid Waste Fund #401 to the Current Expense Fund #001 to cover payroll and expenses. Sheriff's Office in the amount of $5,086.49 to cover the costs associated with the purchase of miscellaneous equipment for their K-9 program, using private donations through the Columbia Basin Foundation. Sheriff's Office in the amount of $9,120.00 to cover the cost associated with the purchase of miscellaneous traffic safety equipment, using reimbursement funds from the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) through their annual Traffic Safety Equipment Grant program. Sheriff's Office in the amount of $157,344.00 ($148,211.00 to the Sheriff's Budget and $9,133.00 to the Jail Budget) to cover the costs associated with overtime and mileage/vehicle fees related to their work at the Gorge Amphitheater, reimbursed by Live Nation. Sheriff's Office in the amount of $254,586.00 to cover the costs associated with the wages and benefits for three deputies and the costs associated with providing them with patrol vehicles and equipment specific to their assignment. $250,086.00 will be reimbursed from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission (WTSC) through a Traffic Safety Team grant, passed though from the United States Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Notice of Opportunity for Public Comment Proposed Amendment to Air Emissions Permit for SGL Composites LLC, Moses Lake, Washington Which project is proposed for amendment? SGL Composites LLC (SGL) was issued a Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permit (No. 14-02) on April 13, 2015. SGL has requested an 18-month time extension for their PSD permit No. 14-02. This amendment proposes to approve the second time extension request. The time extension will not impact air quality at the facility. What is Ecology proposing to do? Ecology has prepared a PSD permit amendment to provide SGL with an 18-month extension to continue construction. The proposed will not change emissions above levels in the prior PSD permit.
