Americans have a right to fly the flag
I moved from the country to town and moved into some apartments. For about two months I have been here. I have put up a couple of things and I was told to take them down. I took them down. The last thing I put up was a United States flag. They told me to take it down and I could not fly it at all. We live in the United States of America and I can’t fly the flag.
Since when has Moses Lake, Wash. been afraid to fly an American flag?
My dad, aunt and uncles flew one and now we live where I can’t.
They say the reason is because they would have to let everybody else fly theirs.
We live here, not some foreign country. I agree with them about foreign flags. If people are so proud of their country and want to fly their flag, then why come here? They want all the benefits of living here but not to stand for the flag, the reason they can have those benefits.
People died for that flag and anthem. People still do. The only reason anybody has a right to disagree or protest is because of that flag.
That flag will not come down till after I move or die. Period.
