Grant County Tourism looking for a few good writers

| November 1, 2018 1:00 AM

EPHRATA — If you like to hike and like to write, the Grant County Tourism Commission is looking for you.

The commission is looking for writers who can hike any of the county's “31 premier hiking trails” and then write roughly 600 words about the hike and provide some pictures as well.

“We will pay you for $100 for each trail you visit and report to us,” said a news release from the Grant County Tourism Commission.

According to the rules, the Tourism Commission will accept only one hiker-writer per trail, and it's first come, first served as far as who gets what trails.

“Please contact us first to see which trails are still needed,” the commission said.
