Carter works hard for Grant County

| November 1, 2018 3:00 AM

As election season is here, I want to say thank you to Cindy Carter and urge you to cast your vote for her. Cindy has faithfully served Grant County and will continue to do so. I have the pleasure of knowing Cindy through farming, 4H, the Grant County Fair, the Gorge, and the homeless/suicide prevention forums. I have seen Cindy go from work at the Courthouse to baling with her husband until the job is done. She doesn’t just talk about the agriculture business, she lives it. With her background and knowledge of farming, she is the candidate to represent Grant County.

My kids have been involved in 4H for over 10 years, and Cindy is a familiar face at the Grant County Fair. Not only is she present, but she also supports local kids’ 4H projects and stays at the fair. By doing so, Cindy sees firsthand what improvements need to be made and goes about improving them for all fair participants.

As a teacher, I have seen the need for additional support services in Grant County for kids and families. Cindy has taken initiative and helped bring awareness and services for families needing shelter and/or health services. As she cares passionately about families, I know she will continue to support these entities.

She has worked hard to provide safety measures for the Gorge, participants, and surrounding businesses and services. Cindy has spearheaded improvements to our roads and worked with law enforcement to decrease crime, and she supports law enforcement officers in their duties.

She listens to the needs of the citizens and works diligently to implement needed changes while remaining fiscally responsible.

Cindy is a caring individual, has seemingly limitless energy, and will work hard for the people of Grant County. Please vote for Cindy Carter.
