Only faith will solve our country's problems

Thank you, Mr. Jones, for having the courage to speak out about a subject as sensitive as abortion. There are several sensitive subjects that need to be addressed by society in general. Gay marriage, gun violence in schools and malls, addiction to drugs, pornography, alcohol, mental health issues and several other important issues.

We can focus our attention on the problem and never find a solution. Perhaps we need to find the base cause of all the problems our nation is facing on a daily basis. God prophesied in the scriptures of a coming apostasy in the world. Apostasy has been a part of society for several years but will soon come to an end. Denying this apostasy would be the same as calling God a liar. Who has been given the responsibility of bringing this to an end, if not the church?

Apostasy is a turning away from the faith. Doesn’t the church still believe in Jesus? Absolutely! The demons believe and they shudder. Faith is more than having a belief; it is having assurance that who we believe is true. Faith is always truth, however we are able to believe a lie and many have because believing is an cal of the human will. Faith is the revelation of God’s will that gives us his assurance for our hope of Heaven. Believing what God says to us is an act of obedience to the knowledge of his will.

Through the years many great men have become leaders in the church and many denominations have arisen. These great men have been elevated in the minds of man to a position of headship of the body.

My hope and prayer is that the church will return to the truth that is in the faith from God and allow Jesus to be the head of the church, Faith from God is our only solution to the many issues facing our nation.
