Boys and Girls Club announces summer lunch program
MOSES LAKE — The Boys and Girls Club of the Columbia Basin, Moses Lake, will be offering a lunch program during summer vacation for children and youths ages 2-18. Meals will be served at a number of sites around town, with beginning and ending dates depending on the location.
Lunch will be served Monday through Friday from June 18 through Aug. 10 at the McGraw Clubhouse (the main Boys and Girls Club facility), North Elementary and McCosh Park. Other sites include Moses Lake High School June 18 through July 26 and Longview Elementary from June 27 to Aug. 1. Lunch will be served to CB Tech students at the skills center, and the district’s auto mechanics program at Big Bend Community College, from June 18 through 29.
Meals are free to the children, must be eaten on-site and can’t be shared with adults.
Children don’t need to be Boys and Girls Club members to participate. People who want more information can contact the Boys and Girls Club, 509-764-9694.
