Kenneth Wayne Schauerman

January 4, 1942 – May 15, 2018

Kenneth Wayne Schauerman passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his home in Moses Lake, Wash. due to heart complications.

Ken was born January 4, 1942 in Odessa Wash. to Theodor “Ted” Schauerman of Odessa, Wash. and Elsie Lodin Kaiser of Regent, N.D.

Ken grew up in Odessa, and spent many hours in the outdoors. He worked with his father as a carpenter for a time, and graduated from Odessa High School in 1960. He later moved to Moses Lake and worked for the City, where he retired after 43 years of service with the water division.

Ken was a knapper and enjoyed making arrowheads. He also enjoyed hunting and shooting with his cousin Jay and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and sister Donna Lodine Schauerman. He is survived by a cousin Jay Kaygle of the Tri-Cities, a cousin Sally Juscor of Puyallup, Wash. and a cousin Bonnie Timpe of East Wenatchee.

Ken wished to have a private memorial.
