Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 2000 block of West Broadway Avenue. Suspects stole documents, cash and consumer electronics. Estimated value $200.

A 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin after he allegedly was found in his car asleep with drug paraphernalia in his hand.

Report of merchandise stolen from a business at 1400 E. Yonezawa Blvd. Case is still under investigation.

A 47-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamines, second-degree burglary, resisting arrest, escape from community custody and on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant. The suspect allegedly ran from officers into a nearby house, attempted to hide meth from officers in the residence’s couch and refused to leave the residence.

Report of theft at Chief Moses Middle School, 1111 E. Nelson Rd. Student allegedly stole camera from school.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of North Stratford Road and Mart Road. Driver of vehicle 2 ran into the back of vehicle 1 when the traffic light turned green.

Report of theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Victim said she left $60 in cash at the self-checkout; when she returned a few minutes later, the cash was gone. Suspect who took the money was described as an older white male.

A 36-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault.

A woman, no age listed, was arrested on an outstanding Spokane County felony warrant after she was reported acting strangely at a business at 104 W. Broadway Ave.

Report of suspicious circumstances, man wheeling a barbecue grill down the street. Subject said he purchased had purchased the grill, thought the help he had arranged to transport it was not going to show up, and borrowed a cart to move it. Somebody did arrive to assist him.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamines. He was observed by officers in the yard of a residence consuming meth, and when he was contacted a 40-year-old man came out of the residence. The 40-year-old man was found to have a WDOC warrant, and was arrested for resisting arrest. A 23-year-old woman in the house was arrested for an outstanding WDOC warrant.

May 19

A 19-year-old woman was arrested for possession of heroin and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Report of one-vehicle, hit and run accident in the 600 block of West Sage Drive. Unknown vehicle ran into neighborhood mailboxes and left the scene.

A 21-year-old man was cited for first-degree criminal trespassing.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding WDOC warrant; he ran away from officers and was apprehended after a short chase.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1200 block of West Columbia Avenue. Victim said unknown suspects slashed all four tires on a vehicle.

Report of theft from a business at 922 W. Broadway Ave. The suspect, a white female with reddish hair, allegedly attempted to steal merchandise from the business, was confronted and returned most but not all of it.

A 32-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

A 24-year-old man was arrested for third-degree driving with a suspended license after he attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended.

Report of fight at a business at 302 W. Broadway Ave. A 22-year-old man was arrested for failing for disperse.

Report of stolen vehicle from a residence in the 1300 block of South Monroe Street. Victim said the vehicle, a 1998 Honda Civic, was stolen sometime overnight.

Report of vandalism in the 400 block of North Crestview Drive. Several lights were broken on a hill behind the residence.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 980 W. Central Dr. Driver of vehicle 1 turned left and ran into vehicle 2, traveling north on Grape Drive.

Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unidentified female suspect stole merchandise, then left the scene in a red four-door Honda, with a man driving. The woman was described as wearing a white tank top and tan shorts.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 1819 E. Kittleson Rd.

Report of dispute in the 400 block of West Broadway Ave. Driver of vehicle 1 said he slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting a bicycle; the person riding the bike allegedly got angry and threw the bike at the car.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant.

Report of theft from a business at 1165 N. Stratford Rd. Victim said unknown suspect took a phone. Estimated value, $100.

Ruben Trevino, 47, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of methamphetamines, second-degree burglary, resisting arrest, obstructing law enforcement and escape from community custody, and on an outstanding WDOC warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
