Wheelchairs on parade

Cheryl Schweizer/Columbia Basin Herald Residents of Genesis Healthcare-Columbia Crest extended care facility celebrated National Nursing Home Week with a parade of decorated wheelchairs Tuesday. It’s become a tradition for residents to parade to the Moses Lake Dairy Queen for an ice cream cone. The residents were assisted by students in the professional medical careers class from CB Tech.
