May 13

A man, no age listed, was cited for DUI. His vehicle was towed.

A woman, no age listed, was cited for third-degree assault (domestic violence) after she allegedly threw rocks at the vehicles of family members.

Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unidentified female suspect did not ring up about $25 of merchandise.

A man, no age given, was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly tried to steal a ladder from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.

A man, no age given, was arrested for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft after he allegedly stole merchandise from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way.

Report of two-vehicle, hit and run accident at the intersection of East Broadway and South Alder Street. Driver of vehicle 1 said a large semi-truck came into her lane and hit her vehicle. Driver said the semi driver didn’t stop, but continued driving north on Broadway.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for DUI. His vehicle was towed.

May 14

Report of theft from a business at 1606 W. Broadway Ave. The suspect, a 32 year-old woman, allegedly put two energy drinks in her tote bag and left the store.

May 15

Report of a coat and vape pen stolen out of a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot.

Report of a suspicious person in the area of West Sage Bay Drive and North Central Drive. Police could not locate the subject in the area.

A man reported his bicycle was stolen from outside of the Moses Lake Public Library.

A Chief Moses Middle School student was found to be in possession of marijuana and a pocket knife.

A Moses Lake High School student was cited for possession of a vaping device.

Report of a driver striking a child’s scooter near Lakeview Elementary and fleeing the scene.

A young boy threatened a friend with a small razor during an argument at the Boys and Girls Club on North Paxson Drive. The parents of the student were contacted.

Report of an unknown male returning unpurchased items at Walmart and getting a refund on two different occasions.

Report of shots fired in the area of North Pennsylvania Street and West Virginia Street. Police could not find any evidence of shots being fired in the area.

May 16

A man reported his vehicle was vandalized in the 1000 block of South Clover Drive.

A man was pulled over in the area of Kathy Drive Northeast and Market Street Northeast for a cracked windshield and was taken into custody on a felony warrant.

A man used a black marker to write on the back of a pickup truck on West Marina Drive. The owner of the truck did not wish to pursue charges and the suspect voluntarily removed the marker from the vehicle.

Report of an unknown subject stealing two pairs of shoes from Famous Footwear and fleeing the scene.

Report of shots fired in the area of South Clover Drive and East Nelson Road. Police searched the area and did not locate evidence of shots being fired.

Report of a possibly intoxicated male driving a vehicle in the area of Samaritan Hospital. Police could not locate the vehicle.

A man was arrested after holding a woman by her throat and threatening to kill her. The victim assaulted a officer when police arrived at the scene. The suspect and victim were both taken into custody.

An unknown subject saw a police vehicle in the 1000 block of West Oregon Street and took off running. Police could not locate the subject.

A man reported that a bad man was at his house and refused to leave.

A man reported that a female who had a restraining order against him was at his residence.

A woman reported her vehicle stolen.

A man reported that his ex was harassing and threatening him.

May 16

A wheel line and pipe trailer were reported stolen.

A woman reported that her grandson had stolen her Jeep the previous night.

A man reported that his chicken coop had been damaged and a chicken killed.

A business reported an employee stealing fuel.

A man reported that his daughter was acting crazy and throwing things.

A woman reported her dog stolen.

A golf cart and clubs were reported stolen.

May 17

A man reported that his fence and vehicle had been hit by a car overnight.

Grant County Jail

May 13

Carlos Salas Gutierrez, 35, Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court for possession of methamphetamines, and theft of a motor vehicle.

Cameron Wickizer,, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

Jonathan Anderson, 41, Grand Coulee, was booked for first-degree burglary.

Heather Chapman, 34, Grand Coulee, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

May 15

Ricky Ramirez, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on two outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for fourth-degree assault and two outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Tyler Stark, 22, of Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding Kittitas County warrant.

David Evridge, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked for attempting to elude, DUI and an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant.
