May 11

A 38-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of mail theft at a residence in the 400 block of South Schneirla Avenue.

A 43-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Grant County warrants for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, and an Adams County warrant for use of drug paraphernalia.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of Pioneer Way and Fifth Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 was stopped at the traffic light, backed up and ran into vehicle 2.

Report of theft at a business at 200 E. Broadway Ave. Unknown suspect took about $500 in merchandise.

Report of theft from a business at 1158 N. Stratford Rd. Suspect asked for cigarettes, picked them up off the counter and walked out without paying. Suspect was described as a bald white male, driving a newer-model jeep with tinted widows.

Report of two-vehicle, hit and run accident at a residence in the 1400 block of South Sunset Drive. Vehicle 1 was parked at the curb; unknown vehicle 2 hit the car and left the scene.

Report of theft from a residence in the 2100 block of West Peninsula Drive. Reporting party said unknown suspects stole a handgun from the garage. Handgun was described as a 9mm Smith and Wesson, serial number HFD9443.

May 12

A man, no age listed, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence). The subject allegedly was upset that a family member woke him up to take him home, punched the family member, and a fight started.

Report of theft from a business at 2822 W. Driggs Dr. Victim said three fishing rods and reels were stolen from his boat sometime overnight. Fishing poles were described as Lumus brand, two Abu Garcia reels; two of the poles were black, one maroon.

A man, no age listed, was arrested for two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree theft and retail theft with special circumstances. The man allegedly was observed taking items out of packages and putting them in his pockets.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 825 N. Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 put the vehicle in reverse while in a restaurant drive-thru, and ran into the vehicle behind.

Report of credit card fraud. Reporting party said numerous fraudulent charges had been made on his bank account in Ephrata, George and Moses Lake since May 9.

Report of counterfeit $100 bill. Subjects were contacted, said they were from the west side of the state and had received the bill from a relative.

Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Reporting party said juveniles, two female and one male, stole about five to seven bottles of liquor.

A 22-year-old man was arrested for DUI after he was stopped in the 300 block of West Broadway Avenue. The man allegedly was driving about 70 miles per hour in a 30-mph zone.

A man reported two vehicles and his shop broken into.

A woman reported that her house had been burglarized.

A man reported that someone drove through his backyard and into some trees.

A woman reported that someone tried to get into her house.

A woman reported that her daughter was receiving threats.

A man reported his shop broken into.

A business reported a drunk male harassing customers and refusing to leave.

A woman reported paddle boards missing from her shed.

A woman reported that someone who had been renting from her stole property and was screaming and yelling and refusing to leave.

A woman reported that her husband, against whom she has a restraining order, had just tried to come through her window.

Pearl Holland, 48, no address listed, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree theft.

Anthony Garcia, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, and an outstanding Adams County warrant for use of drug paraphernalia.

Bradley Shrader, 36, Coulee City, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant for possession of controlled substances.

Brazen Penfield, no age listed, Soap Lake, was booked for possession of methamphetamines, possession of a stolen vehicle and obstructing law enforcement.

Christopher Weatherby, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for reckless driving.

Armando Montejano Valencia, 37, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

May 12

Joseph Patrick, 30, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Salvador Harguineguy, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked for two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree theft, third-degree malicious mischief and retail theft with special circumstances.

Kyle Graves, 27, Grand Coulee, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for rendering criminal assistance.

Kent Baker, 57, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for first-degree negligent driving.

Johnny Metzker, 50, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and first-degree driving with a suspended license.

Gelasio Tapia Cohetzaltitla, 35, Mattawa, was booked for driving without a valid driver’s license or other identification.

Tonya Massey, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Andrew Warren, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Brian Cuevas, 43, Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
