Armed student tip leads to more police at Frontier Middle School
MOSES LAKE — An anonymous tip about a student bringing a gun to school led more police at Frontier Middle School on Thursday.
The Moses Lake School District says they received an “unsubstantiated anonymous message” on their tip line. The tip reportedly came from a student who reported hearing another student state he was going to bring a gun to Frontier Middle School.
The school had an additional presence from the Moses Lake Police Department on Thursday as a precaution as the tip was investigated. The school did not go into a lockdown and ran on a regular schedule on Thursday.
“Once again, we would like to credit our students with our See Something, Say Something culture for bringing this information to light,” the MLSD said in a statement.
