Susan Gay Lamb

April 1, 1959 – April 30, 2018

Susan Gay (Hall) Lamb, 59, of Moses Lake, Wash. passed away at home surrounded by family on Monday, April 30, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Susan was born April 1, 1959 in Camp Pendleton, Calif. She attended school in Spokane and Vancouver, and graduated from Othello High School in 1977. She married Robert Lamb in 1984 and moved to Wisconsin where she resided for 26 years before returning to Washington.

Susan was a loving mother and wife of 33 years, and made a career in the hospitality industry. She enjoyed her work very much and was known for her love of planning celebrations for family and friends. In addition, Susan always had various crafting, gardening, and cooking projects in the works and took pleasure in sharing these passions with others.

Although she lived in many different places over the course of her life, Susan’s heart of gold was far-reaching. Her impact on others’ lives was easily seen and those who knew her best are certain she is celebrating in heaven.

Susan is survived by her husband Robert Lamb Jr.; parents Jack and Judy Mefford; mother-in-law Ilene Lamb; sons Beau (Victoria) Jones, Jackson (Mary) Jones, Brandon Lamb, Preston Lamb and Benjamin Lamb; daughter Amy (Brandon) Calkins; sisters Debra Riddle, Sharon (Chris) Marx, Jacqueline (Michael) Jewell and Melissa (John) Calzadillas and grandchildren Victoria Jones, Marques Jones, Isabel Jones, Kiyan Brown, Ashton Asbrand, Roman Calkins and Serentiy Lincoln. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, father-in-law Robert Lamb Sr. and aunt Patricia Lucas.

A celebration of life is scheduled at the Moses Lake, Wash. Best Western Lake Front Hotel banquet room on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1 p.m.
