Student leader is a breath of fresh air
Kudos to Angelica Mansfield. What she did and what she said at the recent “Student Walkout” reinforced my faith in our young people. She is to be commended for taking the initiative and courage to speak to her fellow students and tell the true story of what is often the cause of school violence. She showed outstanding leadership capabilities and skills. Her parents and mentors should be very proud of how they have helped and molded her to become the strong young lady she showed during the walkout. The news seems to quickly report the bad news and not the good and wonderful things that young people are doing. Thanks to you, the Columbia Basin Herald, for sharing what this brave young lady did and had to say. It was like a breath of fresh air.
