Petra G. Juarez

February 24, 1930 – March 22, 2018

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Petra G. Juarez, 88, was called home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 22, 2018 at her home in Moses Lake, Wash. surrounded by her husband and family.

Petra was born on Feb. 24, 1930 in Texas and moved to Washington state in 1966.

All who knew Petra knew of her strength, love and a faith that never wavered in the midst of difficult time. She was a true example of strength. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who were a part of her life. She has left a legacy and so many in her family are blessed to have been a part of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years of marriage Vicente Juarez, Sr.; her children Raul, Hope, Ruben, Vicente Jr., Mary and Lazaro; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories in Moses Lake and from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Fuente de Vida Nueva, 330 Third Ave. NE, Quincy, immediately followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Guarding Angels Cemetery, 2595 Road L NE, Moses Lake.
