March 25

A 21-year-old woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence). Woman allegedly woke to find her boyfriend having sex with another woman and attempted to leave the residence. Allegedly she had been drinking and the 23-year-old boyfriend tried to stop her. Charges are pending against the man.

Officers contacted a driver whose vehicle appeared to be have been involved in a recent collision. Upon inquiry driver allegedly was involved in a hit and run accident in the county. Driver was arrested for DUI. The vehicle was towed.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 800 block of West Polo Ridge Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 was making a left turn into a driveway and was hit by vehicle 2, driving eastbound. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield right of way.

Report of vandalism at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Victim said unknown suspects had keyed his vehicle.

A 33-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrant after allegedly attempting to steal merchandise from a business at 815 N. Stratford Rd.

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 500 block of West Crest Drive. Owner said backpack with several items was missing, estimated value $100.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 1600 block of East Truman Drive. Victim said thieves broke into her vehicle overnight and took her purse, which contained ID, credit and debit cards and a pistol. The gun is described as a Sig Saurer P938.

Report of attempted theft at a business at 500 S. Pioneer Way. Two suspects attempted to push out a cart of items, but left before police arrived.

A 52-year-old woman was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Report of two students in possession of a small amount of marijuana at Frontier Middle School.

A woman, no age listed, was arrested for residential burglary, violating an anti-harassment order and third-degree theft. The woman allegedly broke into a house in the 2200 block of West Peninsula Drive in violation of a protection order.

A subject, no age given, was arrested on four outstanding Grant County warrants for possession of controlled substances.

Report of theft from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Suspect took several items through self-checkout without paying. Suspect was identified by witnesses; charges are pending for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

Nathan Crowell, 28, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft, and an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Felipe Torres, 28, Mattawa, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.

Rafael Bartolo Acosta, no age listed, Mattawa, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant for third-degree assault.

Antony Reyes, 21, Othello, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant for third-degree assault of a law-enforcement officer, and outstanding GCDC warrants for first-degree criminal trespassing, MIP and third-degree theft.
